Here is what the people are saying

By G. Rowe (Midlothian, VA USA)

Fein 6-35-02-151-02-0 1-1/8-Inch Universal E-Cut Blade, 3 Pack (Tools & Hardware)

I use the Fein Multimaster almost daily in my contracting business, and have found it to be one of the most useful tools on my truck. I use it primarily for cutting out areas of wood rot, and it does this with almost surgical precision!

In my opinion, the Universal E Cut blades are a significant improvement over the other E Cut blades that have a Japanese saw tooth pattern. The tooth pattern on the Universal Blade looks similar to a hacksaw blade, but even with the smaller teeth it seems to cut through wood more quickly than the larger Japanese pattern.

The Universal Blades are also less expensive, and will cut through nails you encounter with ease. The other more expensive E Cut blades shatter when you are unlucky enough to encounter a nail, brick or concrete surface. I would like to see Fein offer some wider versions of this superior blade design, and re-evaluate their pricing strategy for all of their blades.

The Fein Multimaster

The Fein MultiMaster is a variable speed oscillating tool for cutting, sanding and grinding. It is produced by C. & E. Fein GmbH and has a broad assortment of accessory blades. The MultiMaster operates by high-speed oscillation rather than rotation or reciprocation. The tool permits the user to either do fine and delicate work or to be more aggressive, depending on the accessory blade and material.

The Fein Multimaster is the most popular tool C. & E. Fein has ever produced, I first saw this power tool on an infomercial and immediately called up and ordered one. Although I have gone through many Fein Multimaster blades I have never needed to replace my Multimaster tool.

I use my Fein Multimaster on almost a daily basis, I use it the majority of the time for finish work because it is so delicate.

The Fein Multimaster isn't just limited to wood working though, you can use it to polish your car, to sand the old paint off of your car or boat, to remove build up from the bottom of a boat, the applications for the fein multimaster are endless.
